Wizards at Hawks GameThread

The Wizards play the Atlanta Hawks tonight at 7:30 p.m. ET. You can watch the game on NBC Sports Washington or listen on 1500 AM or the Wizards Mobile App.

The Wizards are taking baby steps toward consistency and the road toward .500. If they win tonight, they will be on a season-high three game win streak. What’s also notable is that this would be a road win. The Wizards only have three road wins so far and are in a stretch of road games agains other struggling teams. So hopefully, they’ll get it together.

Also, the Wizards have been dealing with more trade rumors, including one about the Knicks saving up for John Wall who coincidentally won a game against them earlier this week. If that wasn’t enough, Kevin Broom wrote in detail about the Lakers possibly wanting to get in the mix as well.

I think it’s safe to say that the Wizards need to find salary cap relief somewhere very soon. But it will be interesting to see how the team rallies until trades, if any, are made.
