Wizards vs. Hornets GameThread

John Wall’s doppelgänger comes to town today on the day when John Wall himself is out for awhile.

The Wizards host the Hornets tonight at 7 p.m. Eastern. This will be on NBC Sports Washington if you want to see the game on television. And if you need to listen to the game, it’s on Federal News Radio 1500 AM and the Wizards mobile app. My personal listening preference is the latter because of higher audio quality on a smartphone.

The Wizards are coming off Friday night’s embarrassment to the Chicago Bulls. The Wizards may have had the best player or even two on the court but we’re going through the same tired script of bad defense and Scott Brooks not willing to play inexperienced players like Troy Brown or until recently, non-usage heavy guards like Tomas Satoransky. And this is a coach who is supposed to be known for developing ... inexperienced players.

The Hornets are the Southeast Division leaders but they are also not contenders. So with that in mind, go Wizards. Win one for John Wall.
