Wizards vs. Magic GameThread

The Wizards continue their road trip as they play the Magic tonight at 7 p.m. EST. You can watch the game on NBC Sports Washington Plus. And for listening, tune into Federal News Radio 1500 AM or the Wizards Mobile App.

The Wizards are in a must-win situation from here through the end of the month, assuming that they end up in the playoffs. They are currently 2-8 and are playing like it as well. The Magic are still projected to be a lottery team at this point, but they are 4-7, better than the Wizards are.

There is no shortage of negative pixels on the Wizards, whether it comes from here, the newspaper, ESPN’s First Take, and everything in between. Unfortunately, the narrative just isn’t going to change until a big win streak happens. They already started off on the wrong foot with an embarrassing loss to the Mavericks, and it should be no surprise to us if it happens again.

Still, I’m an optimist. So, I think the Wizards will find a way to grab a W. Go Wizards!
