The Wizards are coming off a loss to the Pelicans earlier this week and are about to face off against an up and coming Philly team that could realistically win the Eastern Conference this season. Jimmy Butler, who the Wizards were considering making a move for, now plays here after his shenanigans with the Minnesota Timberwolves earlier this season.
It will be interesting to see how the Wizards, and especially Otto Porter do against Butler. In case you missed it, he is linked into trade rumors with the Sacramento Kings. Porter was courted by the Kings before he signed his sophomore deal in 2017.
We’ll see what happens with those trade rumors in the coming days and weeks. But for now, go Wizards!
