What to Watch for
How do the Wizards plan to slow down Anthony Davis?
The Wizards picked up a solid win over the Pelicans last week, but the game was in Washington and Anthony Davis missed the game. Now, he’s back and he’ll be looking to damage against Washington’s shaky front line.
Julius Randle went off for 29 points and 15 rebounds while Nikola Mirotic added 24 points and 9 rebounds. Just imagine what Davis — who is averaging 27.0 points and 12.8 rebounds per game this season — could do against the Wizards at home.
If Davis goes off, Washington will need to leverage their advantage on the perimeter to give themselves a chance. John Wall, Bradley Beal, Otto Porter, and Austin Rivers combined for 87 of the team’s 124 points when the team met on Saturday.
