Monumental Sports and Entertainment announced on Friday morning that GEICO will sponsor the Wizards, Mystics, and Go-Go’s jerseys this season. It’s the first jersey sponsorship deal ever to cover an NBA, WNBA, and G-League team together, according to Scott Allen of the Washington Post.

The Wizards will debut their new sponsored jerseys on Friday against the Thunder, one of the last two teams in the league without a jersey sponsor, along with the Pacers.
As part of the new deal, Monumental also announced the team will be giving away jersey t-shirts with the new sponsor logo at Sunday’s game against the Knicks.
GEICO won’t get much real estate on the Wizards’ jerseys, but they’ll get quite a bit of space on the Mystics’ and Go-Go’s jerseys:

GEICO has been a corporate partner with the Wizards for some time, and they’re headquartered in Chevy Chase, Maryland, so it isn’t surprising that they’ve partnered up. As of now, it’s unclear whether or not this means GEICO caveman will make another appearance in the Wizards’ locker room.
