What to Watch for
Can we have a competitive game, please?
Just when you thought the Wizards might be turning the corner, they put in two of their worst efforts of the season against the Nets and Blazers over the weekend. Now, they’ll try to pick up the pieces against the Clippers, who handed them their worst loss of the season, a 32-point walloping back in October.
Beating the Clippers won’t be easy. What they lack in star power they make up for with great depth throughout the roster. They’re currently 10-5 and they’ve got wins over the Warriors, Rockets, Spurs, and Bucks already this season. Although they’ll be on the second night of a back-to-back after facing the Hawks on Monday, the Wizards shouldn’t expect to be able to sleepwalk through this one.
Marcin Gortat returns to Washington
