The Wizards continue their long West Coast road trip with a Friday match against the Sacramento Kings. The Kings are so far 2-3 and came off a big win over the Oklahoma City Thunder earlier this week, though OKC is actually off to a worse start than Washington at the moment.
Sacramento is the capital of the state of California, but it will always be a second home for color analyst Kara Lawson. When she played in the WNBA, she spent her first years playing for the Sacramento Monarchs.
The Wizards are in need of a win to get the season back on the right track. It is true that the Wizards have had some bad starts in the past few seasons, but they still made the playoffs with room to spare. I’m not sure if this team can keep doing that and still stay on the same path.
