What to watch for
Kelly Oubre Jr. has turned up his level of play on the road
Coming off the bench, Oubre is averaging 14 points per game this season. In Wednesday night’s game against the Warriors, he put up 17 points (15 in the first half alone) and grabbed 4 rebounds in the 30 minutes that he was on the floor. On Monday, the 4-year veteran scored 22 points and grabbed 6 rebounds against Portland. It’s safe to say Oubre Jr. has momentum on the road right now and hopefully he continues to build on it.

No more injuries, please
Dwight Howard hasn’t played in one game due to his piriformis muscle strain and now, Mahinmi has been limited due to back spasms. Having two big men out means the Wizards are becoming smaller on both ends of the court which isn’t the most ideal situation. Bradley Beal being diagnosed with a chest contusion early on in the game against Golden State on Wednesday night was alarming but luckily, the guard was able to return to the game and put up 23 points, despite losing. The Wizards can’t afford to lose anyone else, especially one of their superstar players, to injury.
