Washington will head into tonight’s game with some momentum after winning Monday’s game in overtime over the Portland Trail Blazers. After losing two consecutive games in the final minutes (or seconds), this game looks like the type where Washington has little chance of winning.
Last season, the Wizards were swept by the defending NBA champions. However, they weren’t blown out in either contest. On October 28, 2017, they lost 120-117 after leading most the game, and on February 28, 2018, the Wizards lost 109-101, thanks to a strong push by the bench in the third quarter which turned around the narrative of a possible blow out.
Alright, that’s enough from me. Go Wizards! Let’s get win number two!
