One of the common refrains about Otto Porter since he joined the NBA is that he needs to add muscle. Whether it’s to deal with the bigger small forwards in the league or handle more minutes at power forward, we can all agree Porter would be better off if he was a bit stronger.
To get a better idea of whether or not he got stronger, we set up a couple of image sliders so you can compare his media day pictures from last year (with the gray background) to the ones from this year (with the red background).
As bloggers, we’re not exactly experts on how to add muscle or evaluate those who are, but it seems like Porter is at least trending in the right direction, even if it isn’t a drastic difference. Hopefully it translates to more success on the court this season.
