The Wizards have not drafted anyone on Thursday night. But they are still active filling in spots on their Summer League roster.

After the Wizards signed Kris Jenkins of Villanova and Marcus Keene of Central Michigan to their training camp roster, they also added Devin Robinson of Florida and Michael Young of Pittsburgh, two of the more notable undrafted players available.

More on Robinson and Young

Robinson, a 6’8 forward, played three seasons for the Gators. Last season, he averaged 11.1 points and 6.1 rebounds a game. Robinson declared for the draft in 2016, but he withdrew after suffering a foot injury.

If there’s a part of his game that the Wizards can use from Robinson in the long term, it’s perimeter shooting, where he made 39.1 percent of his threes last season. However, Robinson needs to work on adding some strength. He is listed at just 200 pounds.

Young played four years at Pitt where he was their long-time starting power forward. Last season, he averaged 19.6 points and 6.8 rebounds a game. He will be able to stretch the floor with his long range shooting. He also has a knack of getting to the free throw line, where he attempted nearly seven free throws per game last season. Young also participated in the Wizards’ pre draft workouts earlier this month.

The Wizards still added three more players after that.

But that’s not all!~ They added several new names, according to J. Michael of CSN Mid Atlantic:

Let’s go over the players besides Keene (analysis here) below:

  • Kevin Pangos is a 6’2 guard who played at Gonzaga until 2015 after a four-year college career. He played for Lithuanian club Žalgiris Kaunas last year. The head coach at Kaunas is former Maryland Terrapin star Šarūnas Jasikevičius.
  • Maalik Wayns is a 6’1 guard from Villanova. However, he played there from 2009-2012. Wayns had stints with the 76ers and Clippers before, but spent last season with Maccabi Rishon LeZion in Israel. He’s a 6’1 point guard with

The Wizards Summer League team will begin practicing very soon. It will be interesting to see who may get at least a two-way contract next season.
