The NBA announced on Wednesday afternoon they have fined Isaiah Thomas $25,000 for “directing inappropriate language toward a fan” during Game 3 of the series between the Wizards and Celtics. You can see some of the exchange here:

Things got a little heated last night at the game from the bench as well. All 5'7 (5'9 my ass) of Isaiah Thomas told this disrespectful fan, I will fuck you up and you know that.....lol

The news, coming right on the heels of Wednesday’s crucial Game 5, should make things even more interesting. Let’s just hope Thomas doesn’t use the fine as motivation for a big night in front of his home crowd and Kelly Oubre doesn’t get caught up in whatever Celtic fans might have to say to him in his first game back since his scuffle with Kelly Olynyk in Game 3.
