What to watch for

How will Brooks manage the Wizards’ minutes in Denver’s high altitude?

The Wizards are on the second night of a back-to-back, but it isn’t your usual back-to-back because they’re flying to Denver. So not only will they be fatigued from Tuesday’s game against the Suns, but they’ll be adjusting to the altitude in Colorado as they get ready to take on Nuggets.

The good news is Marcin Gortat and Markieff Morris should be more well rested than usual because they both played less minutes than usual on Tuesday. Then again, the reason both played less is because they were in foul trouble and ineffective most of the game. Hopefully they can bounce back in this one.

Can Kelly Oubre get his groove back?

Denver has a lot of talented players on the perimeter, so this is a game where they could really use Oubre’s defensive versatility. They could use him on offense as well. Oubre hasn’t cracked double digits in scoring since the Wizards’ overtime thriller against Cleveland last month.

Will Rocky make a guest appearance on the court?

You don’t think the Nuggets’ mascot is just going to let the Suns’ Gorilla have all the fun, do you?

Most Likely Wizards Killer: Will Barton
