What to watch for

Do the Wizards have an answer for Kevin Love?

People remember LeBron James’ ridiculous shot to force overtime the last time these two played, and they remember how Kyrie Irving closed the game out in overtime, but Kevin Love was the one who really dominated most of the game for Cleveland.

He finished with 39 points on 17 shots and added 12 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals in win. The first time they met, Love’s shot wasn’t falling, but he still earned 9 free throws and finished with 14 points and 16 rebounds. Washington just hasn’t figured out a way to stop him with Markieff Morris, Otto Porter, Jason Smith, or Kelly Oubre.

This is the Wizards’ last chance to tinker with a new strategy before the playoffs come around. If Scott Brooks has any tricks up his sleeve, this would be a good time to test it out.

Most Likely Wizards Killer: Richard Jefferson

You can’t spell Richard Jefferson without “Acorn Herder” which is fitting because Jefferson always stores away his best games for when he faces Washington like a squirrel storing nuts for winter.
