House signed a deal with the Wizards over the summer after impressing the team with his performance at the Las Vegas Summer League. However, he struggled to find playing time ahead of Otto Porter and Kelly Oubre on the Wizards’ roster. He also spent a couple months on the injured list after hurting his wrist during a team practice in late November.
Most of House’s playing time this season has come in the D-League. He played one short stint in November prior to his injury, and then returned in early February once he fully healed from his wrist injury. He’s averaging 13.3 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 2.0 assists in 26.7 minutes per game with the Delaware 87ers.
House’s only NBA appearance came in the final 50 seconds of the Wizards’ loss to the Cavaliers in November.
Washington will be on the hook for the rest of House’s salary this season, but they won’t have to pay any of his 2017-18 salary, since it was non-guaranteed according to Bobby Marks.

UPDATE #2: It’s official: Brandon Jennings is a Wizard.
Here’s what Ernie Grunfeld had to say on the signing, via the team’s press release:
“Brandon gives us playmaking ability and experience at the guard position while adding another scoring option as well. His presence, along with the recent acquisition of Bojan Bogdanovic and the continued progression of Ian Mahinmi, will help our team as we continue our push towards the playoffs.”
UPDATE #3: Jennings will make $1.2 million with the Wizards this season, according to Marc Stein:

That means the Wizards used the Room Exception, a cap exception the team did not use during the summer, to sign Jennings to a deal worth more than the veteran’s minimum.
