Danuel House is heading back to the D-League to get some more playing time under his belt, according to J. Michael of CSN Mid-Atlantic and Ben Standig of Locked on Wizards.
This is good news for Wizards fans because it means House is finally ready to play again after fracturing his wrist back in late November during practice. The injury happened shortly after his first, two-game stint in the D-League with Delaware earlier this season.
Michael reports House will play at least two games with the team. He will need to use that time to get back into rhythm after his injury, and get playing time that he wouldn’t otherwise get with the Wizards’ active roster.
House only made one, one minute appearance with Washington before his injury in December. Since the team is fully healthy at the moment, it’s hard to imagine him getting a spot on the active, 13-man roster at the moment, but that could certainly change depending on what happens at the trade deadline.
