What to Watch for

How will the shot distribution shake out after Beal’s big night?

Bradley Beal had an incredible performance on Tuesday night against the Blazers, shattering his career-highs for points and shot attempts. Based on his recent track record against the Suns, he could be in for another big night Thursday. He had 40 when they played earlier this season, 42 in a game last season, and 34 against them in 2015.

As Tim Cato noted for SB Nation NBA, Beal has been great at times without Wall this season, he’s still at his best when Wall can alleviate some of the pressure to create offense. With that in mind, it will be interesting to see if the Wizards try to get back to more of a standard distribution of shots against a weakened Suns team, or if they lean on Beal again to get through this stretch before Wall returns.
