Hey Wizards fans!
I'm a writer over at Sactown Royalty, and would love to get your perspective on a potential Kings - Wizards trade.
To no one's surprise, the Kings aren't going anywhere fast, and with the ability to now trade players signed in the offseason, our Front Office will probably be looking to move on from a couple of our veterans.
Zach Randolph has been our best player, but he also isn't a part of the future, and Vlade may want to move him to try and secure an asset. Z-Bo is currently average 15.2 points, 7 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and he's doing that on 51% shooting from the field, as well as 36% from 3-point range on 2.3 attempts per game.
I won't lie to you; his defense is pretty abysmal due to his lack of vertical lift and advanced age, but he's been deadly on the offensive end of the court. Okay, enough selling.
SAC: Mahinmi, 2018 WAS first rounder (top-10 protected, top-1 protected in 2019)
Zach could either start next to Gortat and provide another offensive boost and shooter to spread the floor for Wall, or he could be your instant offense off of the bench like he was for Memphis last season. Money-wise, this sheds your FO of the miserable Mahinmi contract. Z-Bo is owed $12 million for this season and another $11 million next, while Mahinmi is owed $48 million over the next three years, which is a savings of $24 million.
If you have any interest, George Hill, Garrett Temple, Kosta Koufos, and Vince Carter are all likely on the block as well.
