Heat: Everyone's healthy.
What to watch for
How will Washington fare against actual NBA competition?
Through three games this preseaaon, the Wizards have faced a team from China, the Knicks without Kristaps Porzingis, and the Cavaliers minus all their key contributors. After Wednesday's game, they'll face the Knicks again in New York and then the real season begins.
Needless to say, this is the Wizards' best and only chance to go up against some legitimate NBA competition. Although the Heat just missed out on the playoffs last season, they took a big step forward in the second half of the season and added Kelly Olynyk to improve their frontcourt depth. Plus, the combination of Goran Dragic and Hassan Whiteside has always given the Wizards a hard time. This game will give them some much-needed reps against their biggest threat in the Southeast Division before next Wednesday's season opener.
Most Likely Wizards Killer: A bucket of water
Technically, the Wicked Witch of the West is a wizard, and her death in The Wizard of Oz highlights a key vulnerability they face. Miami has the highest number of water buckets per capita of any major city in the U.S. Washington needs to be extra vigilant to make sure Dion Waiters doesn't get any ideas this evening.
