Last week was the best week for the Wizards in quite some time. The NBA also took notice of it, because John Wall was named the NBA’s Eastern Conference player of the week for games between December 26 and January 1.
The Wizards won all of their games last week, where he averaged 24.3 points, 13 assists, 5.3 rebounds and 2.7 steals in three games. Wall had a double double every game last week, and was one assist away from a triple double last Wednesday during the Wizards’ 111-105 win over the Pacers.
Hopefully Wall continues playing in form in January, which will be more of a challenge. December was a bounce back month, but the schedule only gets tougher from here.
