The Wizards’ long wait to bring over their second round pick from the 2012 draft is finally over. Tomas Satoranksy has agreed to a three year, $9 million deal according to multiple reports:

Because it’s been four years since the Wizards drafted Satoransky, he’s no longer bound by the rookie scale limits that usually apply to second round picks, hence why he was able to sign a bigger deal.

While it will be hard for Satoransky to ever match the production of some of the players who were drafted after in him in that draft (Draymond Green, Jae Crowder, Khris Middleton) he has a chance to be a very useful piece off the bench right away for the Wizards.
