After a close loss to the Hawks on Sunday, the Wizards are back in action Tuesday afternoon with one last chance to improve their seeding before the Summer League tournament starts on Wednesday. A win over Brooklyn would help their chances of getting a first-round bye and a day of rest before they get involved in tournament action.
Game Info
When: Tuesday, July 12 at 4:00 pm EST
Where: Cox Pavilion in Las Vegas, Nevada
TV: Fans in the Washington D.C. area can watch the game live on CSN Mid-Atlantic. The game can also be streamed on ESPN3, along with every other Summer League game.
Notable players on Brooklyn’s roster
- Rondae Hollis-Jefferson - He’s still trying to figure out how to contribute as a scorer, but the rest of his game is ready. In the Summer League opener against the Cavaliers, he had 8 rebounds, 7 steals, and 4 assists.
- Sean Kilpatrick - He came on really well at the end of the season for the Nets, averaging over 13.3 points per game in March and 16.9 points in April. His challenge will be trying to show he can do more than just score in Las Vegas.
- Isaiah Whitehead - Very little in common with Hassan Whiteside.
- Henry Sims - The Georgetown big man is still trying to find a home in the NBA. A big game on Tuesday would go a long way to helping him secure a deal for next season.
- Yogi Ferrell - Watch your ankles.
