NBA Free Agency: Jared Dudley agrees to three-year, $30 million deal with Phoenix Suns

Cross another stretch four option off the list. Just hours after the Milwaukee Bucks signed former Sun Mirza Teletovic to a three-year, $30 million deal, the Suns replaced him with Jared Dudley for the exact same deal:

With Teletovic and Dudley already locked up, as well as Darrell Arthur, the market for backup stretch fours is already starting to thin out quite a bit, and we aren’t even at the end of the first day of free agency.

It will be interesting to see where the Wizards go from here. You can understand why they might be a little hesitant to commit one-third of their remaining $30 million in cap space to backup forward, but the longer this stretches out the more likely the Wizards will either be forced to pay a premium for someone like Ryan Anderson or settle for someone cheaper, but considerably less talented.
