The WNBA announced on Monday that Emma Meesseman is the Eastern Conference Player of the Week for games played between June 6 and June 12. This is Meesseman’s first time winning the award in her career.
She scored 23 points and grabbed 12 rebounds last Wednesday in a win over the Dallas Wings and followed it up with a 19 point, 7 rebound performance against the Minnesota Lynx last Saturday. Below, you can see some highlights of just how fluid her game is:

Like I mentioned in Keys to the Palace earlier today, Meesseman had a great week and these are the types of performances that she is capable of doing any night. It is a well-deserved honor.
Going forward, the next step for Meesseman is to perform at this level on a consistent basis. When she does, it will be huge for Washington.
