Sam Hinkie just resigned from the Sixers. He is essentially the antithesis of Ernie Grunfeld, for better or worse — analytical, aggressive, creative, risk-oriented. Maybe doomed, definitely smart.
For those out there who oppose Grunfeld's casual mediocrity, would you prefer rolling the dice with Hinkie? Note that this doesn't necessarily mean a tear-down like the Sixers; the Wizards are in a different spot. But it probably would be something unusual.
