As upsetting as the Wizards have been on this five-game swing to the West Coast, they still have a chance to finish the trip with a winning record on Sunday afternoon, but they'll have their work cut out for them against the Los Angeles Clippers.
The Clippers have slipped under the radar thanks to the record-breaking performances of the Warriors and Spurs, but they've still been a formidable squad for just about everyone else in the league. They're 47-28, and more importantly, 25-12 at home this season.
If the Wizards have any shot, they'll need a monster defensive game from John Wall against Chris Paul. The Clippers' average 111.8 points per 100 possessions when Paul is on the floor. That plummets to 97.7 points per 100 possessions when he's off the floor. If Wall can come through like he did when he forced Paul into six assist, six turnover game in Washington last season, they've got a shot. If they can't, it could get real ugly real quick.

Most Likely Wizards Killer: The start time
Remember, the game is in L.A., so even though it will feel like a late afternoon game on the East Coast, it's a 12:30 game where they're playing. So, if the Wizards were to, ya know, stay up a little later on Saturday night to enjoy the sights and sounds of Los Angeles, that could affect their performance in an early Sunday afternoon game.
