There's "widespread belief" Randy Wittman will be dismissed, according to report

The writing has been on the wall for some time now, but if you need some extra confirmation that Randy Wittman won't be returning as Wizards head coach, ESPN's Marc Stein has you covered:

This follows Brian Windhorst saying there was a "99 percent chance" the Wizards would move on from Wittman earlier this week. It also follows the Wizards missing the playoffs and locker room tension throughout the season in part due to the Wizards' struggles with a pace-and-space system this season.

Also worth noting: The Wizards are holding their end-of-season exit interviews immediately following Wednesday's finale against the Hawks, which breaks the pattern they've used in previous years.

Wizards usually hold player exit interviews with the media the day after the season ends. Announced interviews will be tonight.

It could just be a coincidence, but either way it probably saves the players from being in an awkward position where they have to discuss what's likely to go down on Thursday.
