The Wizards lost on Tuesday night to the Trail Blazers in overtime, 116-109. John Wall had his numbers (20 points and 11 assists) and did what he could, but a team free shooting rate of below 50 percent and late rebounding woes made the outcome of this game what it was.

Here's a recap roll from the night:
Here are some more stories that caught my eye:
Alan Anderson was ejected from the game because he got in a shoving match with Gerald Henderson.
Also, Wittman was not happy about a non-call late in regulation last night. Unfortunately, Henderson is also involved. He was about to inbound the ball with 15 seconds left and called timeout. However, the Wizards believed that it should have been a turnover because Henderson apparently took too long. The Wizards' staff claimed that it was 6.7 seconds before the timeout was made.
The NBA officials' website has a running blog that gives final calls in late-game situations so it will be interesting to see if they also agree with Wittman's assessment. Check out this story by Jorge Castillo of the Washington Post for more.

If the higher ups would give us the night off, we would. :)
Wednesday food specials
The Wizards trailed after the first quarter and lost the game. Since the Capitals were off last night, you get NOTHING!
But your waistline and arteries are thankful.
See y'all Friday.
