Wizards vs. Cavaliers final score: LeBron James sits as Washington cruises to a 113-99 win

John Wall logged his 34^th double-double of the season as the Wizards blew out the Cavaliers on Sunday, 113-99. Wall and Otter Porter led the way with 21 points apiece while Bradley Beal chipped in with 17 off the bench.

The pregame buzz quickly fizzled out once the fans learned LeBron James would not be playing in this one. The Wizards didn't care. After a slow start, the Wizards used a 12-0 run highlighted by two layups in transition from Wall as the Wizards took a 24-18 lead and never looked back.

The Wizards lead held steady between 6-8 points for the entire second quarter. Wall ended the quarter with this spin move and layup to close out the half as the Wizards led, 63-54.

Otto Porter caught fire in the third quarter connecting on four straight three-pointers in the period and scoring the Wizards' first nine points. Porter scored 15 points in the quarter as the Wizards dominated the third quarter outscoring the Cavs, 33-16.

John Wall and the starters would get some much-needed rest as the bench played the entire fourth quarter. Wizards beat the LeBron-less Cavs, 113-99.

John Wall came to play today: With the team off to yet another sluggish start, Wall took things into his own hands. The Cavs did not stop the ball when Wall would catch it in the backcourt so he pushed the ball in transition. More importantly, Wall got to the hole instead of settling for mid-range jump shots. Wall scored 21 points on 8-11 shooting and got to the line as well connecting on 4-5 free throws. Wall took this game seriously as he should have, and the team followed suit.

Otto Porter re-emerges: Prior to today's game, Otto has been invisible in games since the All-Star break. Porter changed all that with a 21-point afternoon including a 15-point explosion in the third quarter where he connected on 4-5 three-pointers.

Games like this remind you of Porter's potential and his improvement year after year. Now the Wizards probably won't get four three-pointers from Porter on a nightly basis, but he needs to show more consistency down the stretch of the season. The Garrett Temple honeymoon is over, yet the Wizards are still forcing it: Long gone are the days where Temple would score between 10-15 points per night with the occasional 20-point game. Temple missed all four field goal attempts in the first half and ended the game with just two points (1-5 shooting). It didn't matter today as this game was a blowout.

Regardless, Temple has become a non-factor on offense and Beal needs to be reinserted into the starting lineup.

BONUS: Floyd Mayweather sat courtside: The recently retired and undefeated professional boxer was in the house for Sunday's game. Normally, Verizon Center doesn't have too many big-name celebrities. But his presence today may have lit a spark of sorts for the home team.
