Adrian Wojnarowski: Wizards are not a front runner for Kevin Durant's services

Yahoo! Sports NBA writer Adrian Wojnarowski did an interview over the weekend with Jason McIntyre of "Best of the Big Lead." At the 42:30 mark, McIntyre asked Wojnarowski about the Lakers and how they fit into Durant's free agency plans this summer if they won the number one pick in the NBA Draft Lottery. He also mentioned the Wizards not being a playoff team.

Woj was blunt and said this:

Woj: Jason, Washington and the Lakers, they are not front runners for Kevin Durant ... He wants to win a championship right away.

Wojnarowski mentioned that the Golden State Warriors were a more likely destination for him than the Wizards or Lakers for that matter.

I'm not surprised that Durant isn't that interested in playing for Washington, and his press conference during All-Star Break certainly sounds like he has moved on from them ... for now.
