According to Jorge Castillo of The Washington Post, Wizards swingman Alan Anderson hopes to be ready to play on Tuesday against the New Orleans Pelicans or Wednesday against the Chicago Bulls.
Anderson signed a one-year contract with Washington last summer. However, he missed the entire season so far due to a left ankle injury. He had two surgeries in May and October 2015 to repair it. I'm not banking on him "saving the Wizards," but it will be nice to see him in a Wizards uniform this season as opposed to a suit.
