Highlights from John Wall's dazzling 28 point, 17 assist performance vs. the Knicks

Scoring 28 points and racking up 17 assists is impressive enough on its own merit. It was only the ninth time since 1983 that a player has gone for 28 and 17 with less than two turnovers. Yet, if you just go by the box score, it doesn't tell the full story of how well Wall played on Tuesday in New York.

According to NBA.com's Player Tracking, Wall also had three secondary assists and assisted on two plays that led to free throws. His assists led to 46 points last night. In all, he played a hand in 74 of the 111 points the Wizards scored last night, exactly two-thirds of the Wizards' entire offensive output last night.

When you wonder why the Wizards struggle at times, remember how much it takes from John Wall just to help the Wizards get a three point victory against a team that isn't in the playoff picture.
