Ian Mahinmi got his first points as a Wizards by posterizing Joel Embiid

After missing the preseason opener with an injury, Ian Mahinmi played his first game with the Washington Wizards on Thursday night against the 76ers.

He started out quietly, coming off the bench but then said hello in a very emphatic manner on Joel Embiid’s head:

Mahinmi earned his $64 million deal largely due to his defensive efforts, but he can throw it down a bit as well. Hopefully this is a sign of more things to come in the future.
