The Washington Wizards are getting back to business today as they hold Media Day before the start of training camp on Tuesday.
Media Day provides an opportunity for everyone to get a glimpse of who says they've been putting on muscle and who has actually been putting on muscle this summer and allow players to set their expectations for the upcoming season. It should be a fun for everyone. When notable things happen, we'll talk about them here.
In the meantime, enjoy JP Finlay's chat with John Wall about his infamous BRUH image.
Updates
Drew Gooden is at Media Day and he is EXCITED.
Hey Hump, get out of my pic! #WizMediaDay @DrewGooden III checking in pic.twitter.com/ZIYasg8Akf

DeJuan Blair is also at Media Day and he has one of those hoverboard things:

Also, there's a championship belt at Media Day and we have lots of questions.

But for what it's worth, it looks great when Kris Humphries is holding it. He should consider a post-basketball career in the WWE.

Randy Wittman is saying the right things today.
Wittman says they'll obviously go small more but "We're not Golden State " #WizardsTalk @CSNWizards #NBA

Wittman just cited points per 100 possessions on the @MonumentalNtwrk live feed. Advanced stats!

Nene on the other hand...
Catching up with Nene. He stuck with his recent offseason plan. Didn't touch a basketball this summer. Not once. Nope, nada, zilch.

Then again, considering his age and injury history, that may not be the worst thing for him.
Bradley Beal had some interesting things to say about his contract negotiations and how he plans to change his game this season:
"I may, I may not" - Bradley Beal still hasn't decided whether he will be wearing headband this season
— Bartosz Bielecki (@bart__92) September 28, 2015
Beal said the Wizards haven’t offered him a contract extension, which is not what I was told.
— Jorge Castillo (@jorgeccastillo) September 28, 2015
Beal said he isn't eliminating the long 2 from his game entirely. Instead, he said, he'll just tone it down and focus on rim shots and FTs.

Is Martell Webster going to log some minutes at power forward this season? He seems to think so:
Martell Webster says he knows he'll be playing stretch 4 this year. Said he's going to get on work with the 4s at training camp.
