This offseason has been so long. At times, you wonder if the Wizards are ever going to play basketball again. But then you get moments like Monday afternoon when the Wizards announced their training camp schedule to remind you the good times are coming back. Here is this year's schedule:

Tuesday 9/29 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. (SECU Arena)
Wednesday 9/30 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. (SECU Arena)
Thursday 10/1 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. (SECU Arena)
Friday 10/2 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. (Verizon Center)
Saturday 10/3 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. (Verizon Center)
Sunday 10/4 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. (Verizon Center)

As you can see, the Wizards will start out training camp at SECU Arena, on Towson's campus, before returning to the Verizon Center for the rest of training camp. Finishing training camp at home makes sense since they'll play their first three preseason games at home. But it's also nice to see they'll be getting out for a bit to start things off. The Wizards won't be playing a preseason game in Baltimore this season, it's nice to see the Charm City get some consolation, and it keeps the Wizards from getting too cozy in the friendly confines in the buildup to the start of preseason.

Also worth noting: The Wizards will kick things off with Media Day at the Verizon Center on Monday, the 28th before heading out to Towson to start camp.

We're a week away from the start of training camp. It's time to start getting excited, people.
