When do you want Bullets Forever Night at Verizon Center?

New, comments

Here's a selection of home games where we could meet up and YOU get to vote on that final date. Voting ends on Saturday, September 19 at 8 p.m. ET.

Stewart W. Small

Last August, we released the results of a community survey to gauge the interest of various things that you wanted our site to do or organize. One thing you suggested as a game night at the Verizon Center.

As a Wizards season ticket holder, I recently spoke with my guest services representative about it. After speaking with her, we will do our best to have at least some combination of the following:

  • A Wizards T-Shirt for everyone who attends (this I know you will get)
  • Early entry into Verizon Center to watch shootaround. Usually, you can only enter a game one hour before tip off. So for example, you could get in the Verizon Center 90 minutes early to watch shootaround.
  • An opportunity to take a picture on the Wizards' court
  • An opportunity to take a free throw

When it comes to location on where you all can sit, the seats with the most availability will be in the 400 level, which is the upper floor. That said, I'll do my best to see if we can get a 100 level area, but no guarantees.

At this point, I have one last question. Of the five games below, which one do you want as the date of Bullets Forever night?

As you might have guessed, we're not going to have this night on a game when the Warriors, Cavaliers, or Thunder play. And to make things easier on people's schedules, I am picking Saturday games only.

There will be a poll below so you can vote. Voting will end on Saturday, September 19 at 8 p.m. ET. The game with the most votes will be the date of Bullets Forever night and I look forward to sharing more details, including buying options very soon!
