The Wizards have finally made their first splash this offseason as they have reportedly acquired Jared Dudley from the Milwaukee Bucks according to ESPN's Marc Stein.
ESPN sources say that the Washington Wizards are closing in on a trade for Milwaukee's Jared Dudley. On course to be completed July 9

As Stein and others noted, Dudley did opt into his $4.25 million player option on the eve of free agency, but it appears Milwaukee is cutting costs as they just signed Greg Monroe to a massive three year, $50 million deal earlier today.
We'll have a lot more on this in the coming days, but it's safe to say this is a major coup for Washington who moved quickly to replace the departed Paul Pierce.
