The Washington Wizards announced their pre-draft workout lineup for Thursday, June 10th and it features some players the Wizards may be interested in with their first or second round pick. Here's the full lineup, including where they rank on the Draft Express Top 100 Prospects Rankings:
Name | Pos. | From | Draft Express Ranking |
Brandon Ashley | F | Arizona | 100 |
Corey Hawkins | G | UC Davis | 73 |
David Laury | F | Iona | N/A |
Nikola Radicevic | F | Serbia | 76 |
Rashad Vaughn | G | UNLV | 40 |
Dez Wells | G/F | Maryland | 78 |
It may not look like there's a first round prospect here, but Rashad Vaughn's stock is rising quickly around the league. Chad Ford has Vaughn going 18th in his latest mock draft, Draft Express has him going 21st, and NBADraft.net has him going 24th. So don't let that ranking fool you. Even though he's ranked low, he's getting plenty of first round buzz.
Other than that, it looks like we've got players, including Dez Wells, who are trying to make some final impressions to possibly sneak into the late second round, or else land on a Summer League team where they can make a play a big role.
