Wizards confirm John Wall has fractures in wrist and hand, status for Game 3 to be determined

After undergoing multiple examinations, the Wizards announced that John Wall has five non-displaced fractures in his left wrist and hand, which put his status for Game 3 and onward in doubt.

At approximately May 7 at 2:30 p.m., Washington Wizards officials announced that John Wall's wrist injury was worse than they had originally feared. The following is from the official press release:

Washington, D.C. – Wizards guard John Wall underwent multiple examinations yesterday that revealed five non-displaced fractures in his left wrist and hand. 

Wall and the team are currently in consultation with multiple physicians and specialists to determine the best course of action and his playing status has yet to be determined.  Further updates will be provided as information becomes available.

Wall's status in Game 3 against Atlanta and beyond is TBD. If he misses more time in the series he will be replaced by Ramon Sessions, who scored 21 points to go with four assists in Tuesday's Game 2 loss.
