Wizards vs. Raptors Game 1 GameThread

The Playoffs are finally here!

Tom Szczerbowski-USA TODAY Sports

Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to the NBA Playoffs!

Game 1 of the Wizards vs. Raptors playoff series will start at 12:30 p.m ET. It will be on CSN locally, ESPN nationally in the US of A, and TSN for those of you who are living north of the border. If you are a radio junkie, you can listen to WNEW 99.1 FM in the D.C. area or SN590 the Fan if you're a Wizards fan in Toronto.

There's also a lot of playoff coverage by the entire staff. We have predictions, Umair's and Mike's clipboard analysis, Jon's Wall vs. Lowry piece, and Jake's preview for this very game.

And I wrote this long-winded stats take overnight. I have no life whatsoever.

Playoff Community Guideline Reminders

Here are some reminders about commenting, especially during the postseason when emotions are high.

1. If you haven't before, read our Community Guidelines and this 2014 refresher. The TL;dr version: write insightful comments and treat this space as a dialogue you have with others like you do in a public venue.

No personal attacks, no sexist or racist comments, and don't troll this place or other SB Nation sites. The mods and I hate the banhammer, but we'll use it if it's warranted.

2. As you may know, you are able to type in an emoji in the comments! We're okay with you using them within reason. But please don't use 50 emoji to describe something. Those comments will be taken down and we can remove the ability to add an emoji too.

3. We reserve the right to create an overflow GameThread in order to keep the site and comments loading in a timely manner. 1,000 comments or so is around the cutoff when we decide to change things up. When a new GameThread is made, we will close the ability to comment on the previous GameThread in order to direct all future comments to the new space.

Bullets Forever post game show

After the game is done, win or lose, we will have a post game show where we will attempt to get some live reaction to how things go. Mike D. Sykes will host along with some other members of our staff. It will be about 30 minutes long or so when the quick recap should be ready.

Anything else?

That's it. Time for the #BFPlayoffParty!
