Notes

There isn't much to add from the preview earlier this morning. But in a year where we're talking about Mike Budenholzer or Steve Kerr fighting for Coach of the Year honors, I think Jason Kidd deserves some major consideration for his job this season to say the least.

As Kelly noted in the preview, the Bucks are a poor team when it comes to turnovers, where their TOV% is at 15.7%, the second highest in the NBA. However, A high turnover rate can be negated if the defense can also force the opposition into turnovers. The Bucks do just that, as their defensive TOV% of 15.7% leads the NBA, so it's a wash in my opinion. Meanwhile the Wizards are nearly as bad in turnovers themselves, but can't weak havoc on offenses. That is a bigger problem in my opinion.

However, let's face it when it comes to all statistics. Statistical differentials just give a picture of how a team is playing up to this point, and it all comes down to how the Wizards play today. If their defense can force the Bucks to turn the ball over many times while not turning the ball too much themselves, it could give them an edge. Hopefully it does.

And by the way, if you wanted to know just how bad the Wizards have been in the past month, this tweet explains all:
