Watching NBA teams battle each other multiple times in a two-week span isn't too uncommon, but usually you don't see it between two teams on opposite sides of the country. But that's exactly what we'll see tonight as the Kings host the Wizards, eight days after Washington had a historic comeback win over the Kings last weekend.
Where and when? The Wizards play the Kings tonight at the Sleep Train Arena in Sacramento at 6 p.m. You can watch the game on CSN Washington or join the #radioparty on 99.1 WNEW.
Who's out? Garrett Temple and Kris Humphries are both still dealing with their injuries that have kept them sidelined recently. DeMarcus Cousins is probable for tonight's game after a calf strain that's kept him out of the past two games.
Potential blessing of Cousins probably playing tonight: No disrespect to the Wizards, but if DeMarcus Cousins plays tonight, that's probably good news for the Wizards, since he forces the Kings to stay big. which plays into Washington's strengths. As great as Cousins is, I like the Wizards chances better going up against Cousins than trying to go up against anyone going small right now. I'll probably regret saying this tonight.
Great moments in Wizards-Kings history: Here's Glen Rice Jr. going off for 24 points in Summer League action against the Kings. Whatever happened to that guy?
