John Wall to participate in the 2015 Skills Challenge

After winning the 2014 Slam Dunk contest, Wall will try to win another event on All-Star Weekend.

Bob Donnan-USA TODAY Sports

The NBA announced Thursday that John Wall will be one of eight guards who will be part of the 2015 Skills Challenge on NBA All-Star Saturday Night. The challenge will be on Saturday, February 14 and you can watch it on TNT.

This year's contest involves eight players, four from each conference who will compete against each other in a single elimination tournament where they dribble around obstacles, pass, and shoot the ball.

Wall will compete against Phoenix Suns guard Isaiah Thomas in the first round. The winner of that bracket will face either Michael Carter-Williams of the Philadelphia 76ers or Jeff Teague of the Atlanta Hawks.

In the other side of the bracket, Trey Burke of the Utah Jazz plays against Brandon Knight of the Milwaukee Bucks, while Jimmy Butler of the Chicago Bulls faces off against Kyle Lowry of the Toronto Raptors.

Given how quick Wall is on the court, and that he is becoming a more consistent shooter, I'd still call him the favorite to win this competition.
