The Wizards lost to the Mavericks, 116-104. Wesley Matthews scored 28 of his 36 points in the second half which was all Mavs. John Wall also left the game early due to bumping knees with Jeremy Evans in the fourth quarter.

I'll share abala's comment which was in both the second half and postgame threads:
I know things aren't looking too hot lately, so make sure that we keep things in perspective though I get that we are often in the moment when things are going well and not-so-well with the Wizards.
As long as the Wizards remain around .500 or so while being as depleted as they are, they aren't in bad shape standings-wise. But I do get that at some point, it will be panic time.
