The Wizards lost to the Clippers, 108-91 on Monday. Chris Paul scored 23 points and dunked twice which probably made the Internet explode. But John Wall also scored 23 points and dished 13 more assists of his own. Marcin Gortat and Otto Porter also had good performances, but the team needs to get more players back from injury in order to be more competitive against top-tier competition.
Let's get to some links, roll call, and more.

Here's the recap roll:
I'll share one more additional link as Broderick Turner of the Los Angeles Times wrote a feature on Paul Pierce's return to Washington yesterday. Kobe Bryant, the star of L.A.'s other men's professional basketball team is having a formal farewell tour, but Pierce doesn't want something like that. From the piece:
"I haven't really thought about that, because this could be it. This is a year-by-year evaluation," Pierce said, before adding with a laugh, "I'll go into the summer. I'll do a summer tour around the local parks [in Inglewood]."
That sounds exactly like something Pierce would say given how he was in Washington. Pierce is an NBA superstar, but he's also a player who is fine with taking a diminished role now that he is past his prime.

Sorry, none from the Wizards OR the Capitals who also played last night.
The good news with Capitals, at least is that they beat the Buffalo Sabres 2-0 on Monday -- THEIR EIGHTH WIN IN A ROW! But they were tied 0-all at the end of the first period, so they couldn't even give you a free Egg McMuffin for your Tuesday morning. So you know, the Caps have to score four goals in order to get you a discounted pizza.
Oh well.
That's all I have. Let's finish 2015 on a high note Wednesday.
