Steve Buckhantz' six stages of 'UNBELIEVABLE'

The Wizards have allowed a lot of players to have hot shooting nights this season. Whether it's miscues on defense or just dumb luck, opponents keep lighting up the Wizards from deep. Eventually, you run out of words to describe what's going on, but Wizards announcer Steve Buckhantz has created a series of stages to express how unbelievably well players have shot against Washington this season:

Denial

This is when a run begins. You don't want to give it too much acknowledgment in the hopes that it goes away, but you can't ignore what's happening either.

Anger

WHY CAN'T HE MISS A SHOT? WHY???

Bargaining

The law of averages has to kick in at some point, right? It has to kick in at some point. We just have to ride this out. It will get better.

Depression

It's not getting better, is it?

Acceptance

No, it's definitely not getting better.

Did Kobe just win? Kobe just won.

Oh well.
