Wizards vs. Hawks postgame thread: Porter shines, but turnovers doom Washington to 114-99 loss

It's over.

Jason Getz-USA TODAY Sports

The Wizards led this game 92-90 after Nene made a shot with 6:24 left to go. But Atlanta made a huge run from there, and the Wizards dished five turnovers from there to lose, 114-99. Otto Porter scored 23 points which was a career high, but that was about the only positive thing I can think of from this game.

Washington dished 26 total turnovers which turned into 33 Hawks points. The House of Guards committed 15 of those by the way.

And on top of that Bradley Beal left the game a little early after suffering an upper body injury.

When it rains, it pours.

Mike Sykes will have your recap soon.
