Wizards reach agreement with Ryan Hollins, per report

In desperate need of bolstering their frontcourt, the Wizards have reached an agreement with free agent center Ryan Hollins.

The Washington Wizards have reached an agreement with free agent center Ryan Hollins, according to Yahoo! Sports' Shams Charania.

While not confirmed, it is expected that the Wizards made use of the Disabled Player Exception they filed for in the wake of Martell Webster's hip surgery earlier this month. Hollins would be signing for half of Webster's salary slot, worth $2.85 million.

This isn't a season-altering move by any means, but at this point, Washington's frontcourt can use all the help they can get. They're 23rd in defensive rating, 24th in rebounding rate, 25th in blocks, and are giving up 60 percent shooting in the restricted area, another bottom-ten mark.

Hollins was waived by the Memphis Grizzlies prior to the start of the regular season, and last suited up for the Sacramento Kings last season.
