Hope you're enjoying your early start to the long weekend. The Wizards play the Hornets tonight.

The Hornets Owner shouldn't be compared to old Kobe Bryant and Peyton Manning

This game is timed conveniently given all the recent hot takes of old Peyton Manning and old Kobe Bryant playing like Hornets owner Michael Jordan, a/k/a the Greatest Player of All Time when he played on the Wizards.

That's just not true though. Mitch Northam wrote a response to those takes earlier this week. Sure, Jordan wasn't an MVP-caliber player for the Wizards. But he was still a reliable starter who was able to produce each night. He also was durable, where he played every game in the 2002-03 season.

How bout that mohawk?

Hornets reserve guard Jeremy Lin has one of the NBA's most recognizable hairdos with his growing mohawk. If you're wondering why he's growing it out (and wearing a mohawk on gameday), look no further than his blog. He's apparently doing this with some of his relatives and colleagues:

Im not cutting my hair though. Me and six others (including my bro, cousin, trainer, agent, etc.) have agreed to eventually have the same hairstyle. Stay tuned.

I can't wait to see a pic of seven dudes with crazy long mohawks.

Anyway, that's enough rambling from me. let's start Thanksgiving weekend on the right note.
